Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une premi\u00e8re mondiale, un <strong>photon a \u00e9t\u00e9 t\u00e9l\u00e9port\u00e9 dans une m\u00e9moire quantique<\/strong>, et ce dans une bande de fr\u00e9quences parfaitement compatible avec nos bonnes vieilles fibres optiques. Rien que \u00e7a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La t\u00e9l\u00e9portation quantique, version science (et pas fiction)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Avant d\u2019imaginer des corps humains se d\u00e9mat\u00e9rialiser dans une lumi\u00e8re bleue, rappelons que la <strong>t\u00e9l\u00e9portation quantique<\/strong> ne d\u00e9place pas un objet mais son <strong>\u00e9tat quantique<\/strong>. Mais <strong>les chercheurs de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Nanjing<\/strong> ont franchi une \u00e9tape d\u00e9cisive : ils ont utilis\u00e9 des <strong>photons \u00e0 1 550 nanom\u00e8tres<\/strong>, la norme actuelle des fibres t\u00e9l\u00e9com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stocker un \u00e9tat quantique : un d\u00e9fi relev\u00e9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leur exploit ? R\u00e9ussir \u00e0 <strong>t\u00e9l\u00e9porter un \u00e9tat quantique dans une m\u00e9moire quantique solide<\/strong>, bas\u00e9e sur des <strong>ions d\u2019erbium<\/strong> int\u00e9gr\u00e9s \u00e0 un cristal. Ce n\u2019est pas juste une jolie exp\u00e9rience : c\u2019est <strong>la premi\u00e8re d\u00e9monstration viable d\u2019un segment de r\u00e9seau quantique compatible avec Internet tel qu\u2019on le conna\u00eet aujourd\u2019hui<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le montage exp\u00e9rimental repose sur cinq modules synchronis\u00e9s :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pr\u00e9paration du photon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Source de photons intriqu\u00e9s sur puce photonique<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mesure de Bell (le c\u0153ur du protocole)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>M\u00e9moire quantique \u00e0 ions d\u2019erbium<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stabilisation par cavit\u00e9 Fabry-P\u00e9rot + verrouillage PDH<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tout \u00e7a sans convertir la fr\u00e9quence, donc <strong>sans pertes majeures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L\u2019aube des r\u00e9p\u00e9teurs quantiques<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans un r\u00e9seau quantique, transmettre l\u2019info ne suffit pas : il faut aussi la <strong>stocker temporairement<\/strong> en attendant la cr\u00e9ation des liens d\u2019intrication. C\u2019est le r\u00f4le des <strong>r\u00e9p\u00e9teurs quantiques<\/strong>, qui reposent sur ces fameuses m\u00e9moires. Les ions d\u2019erbium absorbent pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment \u00e0 la bonne fr\u00e9quence, et les chercheurs ont prouv\u00e9 qu\u2019ils pouvaient <strong>pi\u00e9ger puis restituer un qubit photonique<\/strong> avec fiabilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udc49 Aujourd\u2019hui, le stockage dure quelques millisecondes. L\u2019objectif : atteindre plusieurs secondes, voire minutes, pour un <strong>maillage plan\u00e9taire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une r\u00e9ponse directe aux USA et \u00e0 l\u2019Europe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Alors que l\u2019Europe et les \u00c9tats-Unis se d\u00e9battent avec des contraintes d\u2019int\u00e9gration, <strong>la Chine frappe fort avec une solution plug-and-play<\/strong> compatible avec les fibres d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9ploy\u00e9es sur toute la plan\u00e8te. La publication dans <em>Physical Review Letters<\/em> d\u00e9taille ce travail de haute pr\u00e9cision m\u00ealant <strong>photonique int\u00e9gr\u00e9e, dopage aux terres rares et contr\u00f4le spectral nanom\u00e9trique<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bref, <strong>la t\u00e9l\u00e9portation est l\u00e0<\/strong>, m\u00eame si pour l\u2019instant, elle ne transporte que des photons.
